VALENTINE'S DAY DANCE

Dear Students,

On the fourteenth of February, the Great Hall will be host to a special Valentine's Day Dance, which all students will be welcome to attend. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9:30 p.m. for First, Second, and Third Years. For Fourth Years and above the dance will continue until 11 p.m.

This is formal event, and students should be dressed accordingly. There will be an opportunity to visit Hogsmeade the weekend before the event, should you wish to purchase suitable dress robes. 

We remind students that the consumption of alcohol in the castle is strictly prohibited, and refreshments will be provided by the school at the event.

As often happens at Hogwarts, things aren't going to go exactly to plan with this Valentine's event (which may or may not include a certain potion being slipped in some pumpkin juice)! If you want your Hogwarts student to be involved with the shenanigans, PM the McGonagall account and we'll message you the details of what your character will encounter at the party a few days before the thread is published. It's going to be a fun one, I'm sure!

The site wide thread will be posted on 14th February, and all Hogwarts students will be welcome to post in it, with no posting order.
