Friends
Sebastian almost always has a grin on his face and will look for the humour in everything, especially to avoid something serious and emotional. He's a fun, light-hearted guy who wouldn't at first glance seem like someone that takes things very seriously. However, he is a very caring, kind and generous person once you get to know him and if he considers you a friend there's really nothing he wouldn't do for you. Basically having raised his younger sisters he has learnt early on in life how to be a great listener and a gentlemen, but this is a specialty he keeps reserved for the rare few. Other than that he would always try and lighten the mood, unless you say something that he deems laughable, then he would outwardly laugh at you and point out how stupid you just sounded. Warning: he's very independent and this result in him often trailing off to do his own thing, forgetting to invite you or he might just seem like he is being distant, but I assure he doesn't notice that he's being like this, and needs you to tell him "wth?".
Enemies
I bet he would have some people who are annoyed or irritated by him at the very least. Sebastian is a very candid person and this can lead to him being a bit too honest. He has been told that he says hurtful things and often plays them off as a joke, which isn't as funny as he thinks it is. It also appears like he doesn't care, and sometimes he really doesn't. He's not trying to be mean, but he struggles to see the point in a lot of things and can be a bit belligerent towards people who get really passionate about a topic. It's also not him to get angry, but when he does he prefers the whole fight instead of flight thing and would often use his observational skills to his advantage to point out something that might strike a nerve.
Lovers
I wouldn't say he is a romantic person, I don't even think he knows whether he is or not. Sebastian has been in a controlling relationship before and that probably lasted for a week or two, he is a very independent person and although he grew up with three women in the house he hates expressing his emotions. However, if he finds himself in a relationship he would probably be someone that tries a lot, cares a lot and gives a lot, but to get him there is another story.
Although this spot is reserved for Dominique Estelle Weasley, it doesn't mean it's closed to exes, someone trying to get in his pants or anything you can think of.
OH MAN. We've plotted some of this out, but it's worth writing down again for the sake of being posted in the plotter. Dom has known Seb since first year, and these two have had their antagonistic relationship ever since. She finds him a nuisance, getting in the way of the important work that she's trying to do, and his cynicism confuses her. She cares so deeply about everything the world at large, she just can't comprehend not wanting to get involved to help if it could make even a little bit of difference. His presence at their club meetings is also a big source of her confusion - why come if you don't care and only try to bait her? She just categorically doesn't get him, but she's also not one to kick anyone out, and other people seem to like him, so he kind of has to stay. Combine that with the fact they're forced to be around each other in the Quidditch team, Seb is a constant source of frustration in Dom's life, and she can't seem to escape him.
She's not very adept with identifying and coming to terms with her own personal feelings, so she doesn't like to think about Seb that much because he's much too confusing to disentangle.
Both 7th Years, these two would probably know each other and get along! Jasper's very friendly, open and social, and these two could probably be friends! Jasper's a bit of a sensitive guy though, so Sebastian's jokes could sometimes hit a little too close to home, and he's not likely to say anything about it either - I think that might stop them from being really close friends, but I can definitely see these two considering each other as casual friends and getting along. Let me know what you think!
@undecided - Need a friend? Because I think Andy and Seb can make a fabulous pair. Andy is always looking for a good time and to keep the smiles going. She's super guarded, so she wouldn't let him get that close to her and in all actuality, him disappearing and doing his own thing would be a relief to her, because she gets that. She understands the need to be your own person and just do your own thing. She won't get whiny or clingy, so all in all, I think it would work out great.
So yessssss! Sebastian, having known Dominique since their first year, always found her a bit too easy to get riled up and being the kid that he was he found it amusing and this lead to him doing it quite often. At first it was just fun to push her buttons, but the more he got to know her the more he couldn’t help but do it since she so obviously needed someone to give her a reality check. To him, she was overly optimistic and although she meant good she obviously had her head stuck in the clouds. Honestly, he was confused by her positive outlook on life and her believe that she could truly make an impact on the very large, very messed up world. However, much to his own surprise he seemed to find himself caring at times and therefore when she made a group in an attempt to somewhat improve the world he found himself joining. To be honest he had no idea why he even bothered most of the time. He didn’t enjoy pushing her buttons this much, and he didn’t actually believe that they would make a massive difference. So why was he there? Besides all this, she is in his house and in his Quidditch team and someone he sees almost every day of his life. She’s a bit annoying, and sometimes a bit frustrating, but smart, determined and capable and he doesn’t seem to be able to put his finger on what makes her so intriguing that he seems to want to actually be around her and care for what she cares about.
Sebastian and Jasper
I think casual friends might be the go to for these two. Perhaps since they are together in Care for Magical Creatures that’s where their bond began? Seb is very caring towards animals and kind of a different person when he is around them, much more open, generous and would definitely ease up on the jokes. However, he wouldn’t be that way when they are back around people and probably will be a bit worse when he realized he let his guard down in front of him. Then again, they do know each other for a while now, but in the past, that could be how Jasper got to know him. Anyway, I think Seb might actually be able to be a bit more open with Jasper, but not drastically so. And then there's the whole Argus/Jasper thing and Argus and Seb being close as well. Any ideas?
They both like watching people I see, lol. Yes, I think these two would get along well, they seem to be similar in a lot of ways and then different in others which balance them out perfectly. He would appreciate her not complaining about him often trailing off, and although it still happens, he truly is trying not to and would rarely do so if he is talking to just one person, it’s mostly groups. He would also appreciate her trying to tear away from the whole twin concept and truly treat her as her own person. I haven’t quite worked out Nate and Seb’s relationship yet, but I don’t think he’s going to be overly fond of the guy, but he probably won’t have any beef with him or anything like that. These two could have a lot of fun. Any ideas?
Fred Weasley&& @undecided These two are in the same year and house, as well as being on the quidditch team together, so I feel like they're pretty good friends. Fred also is laid-back and does not take himself or anything else too seriously, so I think he and Sebastian would get along very well given their similar personalities.
Nate isn't the type of person to talk about his emotions, but he's ridiculously serious. Types out quivs in full sentences, type of serious. He doesn't look for the humor in situations...unless is dark, sarcastic humor. He's literally the opposite of his twin. I don't know that they would be great friends, but I think he'd begrudgingly accept Seb as Andy's friend because his sister needs more people in her life, lol. On the other hand, Nate also says things that hurts people's feelings. (He just does it on purpose, haha.)
On the other hand, Cece is a full year behind Sebs, but I feel like they would be friends? Like, I like to compare Cece to literal rays of sunshine because she's normally just so upbeat and chipper. I feel like they would meet making the best out of some terrible situation and would hit it off from there. She's surrounded by sarcastic people a lot (her twin and Nate, pfft.) I also think they might have dated in the past. It definitely didn't work out because I ship Sebs and Dom, lol.. I think she probably took it too serious because she's looking for That Great Romance and they...just wouldn't have it. Or they are better friends than they were partners and so they joke about it all the time, probs. She's not controlling, but she's also the type of person to have annoying nicknames. (She thinks it's hilarious and would up the annoying-ness every time that she could.)
