She's taken to creating concoctions to help with a whole manner of things, and though most were created for personal need she's also invented a few just for fun - and its led to her making more than the odd galleon here and there. She sells under an alias, 'The Thestral', so no one will realise its her. Friends In her first year, friendships came easily to Lily. She spoke to anyone and everyone, and ended up having friends in all houses over several years. Things haven't stayed that way. She's pulled back a lot and remains mostly to herself now, but if you were once a friend she most likely still considers you one. Family There's a certain loyalty that comes with blood which Lily just can't deny, and whilst she still won't seek out any interaction with her family she won't shy away from it either - and she's probably secretly thrilled about it. But she'll also probably be sarcastic throughout. Enemies Enemy is a strong word for Lily - something has to have gone really wrong for you to end up in this category in her head. Although all journalists are in here by default. Lovers Look, she's 14. But she's 14 in a mixed boarding school. Shit happens. He's vowed that if he ever does breed he's giving the kid their own name - like 'Geoff', or 'Anita'... or maybe just skip everything and name it 'Five'. French aristocracy was never quite his style and he escaped that life long ago - he'd prefer you didn't use the 'de'. Lafayette is fun and free-spirited, but takes a more serious approach to social justice. He was part of an unsuccessful uprising in his youth which resulted in banishment from his homeland. He'll never shy away from an opportunity to support a cause. He even became an animagus to support one, although admittedly his llama form wasn't overly useful in France... Oh, also, ask him about his fake leg. He dares you. Friends Lafayette tends to get on with everyone he meets. If you've had a conversation you're most likely considered a friend, especially if you met in the pub. He likes meeting new friends in pubs. Students Teaching wise whilst not the most lenient, he's certainly not strict. You can get away with a lot in his classes if you do the work, or at least try to. He'll probably turn a blind eye where other teachers don't, unless you're hurting someone - that's when he'll step in. Enemies You don't get kicked out of a country without making some enemies. Luckily he's not come into contact with any of these for a good long while now. Lovers Lafayette is disinterested in sex and relationships for the most part. He doesn't mind some fun now and then but it in no way fuels his brain process. Also there's no sexy way to take off a leg. He's tried. (Notable exception: that one time with the sex swing. That worked.) Ezra A. She likes to run, she likes to go for nice food, and she really likes dancing around her kitchen in her underwear whilst loudly belting muggle pop songs. Lisa spent the majority of her divorce settlement money on a 5th floor apartment overlooking the Thames on London's Southbank, and whilst she barely sees her ex-husband now she's actually still pretty close to his family - especially his sister. She's decided that next time (if there is a next time) she's not letting what she thinks of the guy's family dictate what she thinks of him. Friends Even though she rarely has time to catch up with her friends, Lisa loves nothing more than a good gossip. Especially if it can be over a decent meal and a bottle of wine or three. She works hard, but she also plays hard. Colleagues In a work environment Lisa is more reserved. She's good at her job and she knows it, and she doesn't really see the need for everyone she works with to know her business. She's friendly and she'll have fun with her colleagues but for the most part she's not going to be opening up to any of them. Enemies Her ex-husband has to come under this heading by default, right? Really, he's a grey area - something about too much history and good memories for there to truly be any bad blood. Although that doesn't stop her from wanting to push him off a building. Lovers Lisa went from a long-term high school relationship to dating the guy she would eventually marry within barely a few months. Although between separation, divorce, trying to make things work, and the eventual "absolutely fuck off now mate" she did get in her fair share of tinder dates... Right now she's happy with a decent lay and not much else. She's a romantic at heart, she just doesn't need that right now. He's either paying too much or too little, and he's not sure he ever gets it right. All he wants to do is keep moving. Dancing, playing quidditch, free-running. His life revolves around being able to move. He has an addictive personality and it shows in his hobbies - sports, friends, intoxicants. He Commits. Christian is also convinced he's dying every time he coughs. He went over on his ankle when he was younger and thought it was nothing, but it turned out to be broken and he was on crutches for six weeks. As a particularly active 8 year old, this was hell. Since then he's not quite trusted his instinct when it comes to his own health. He spends a lot of time at the Hospital wing, just in case. Although given his cynical nature he's very blase about it (on the outside). Friends He likes to pretend that he pushes people away, but in reality he's like a limpet. Once you're in he's clinging and you will hear all his laments and life problems. You'll also have a lot of fun though. He's always up for a party and some escapism. #yolo Family Christian is from a big family and is used to being surrounded. Naturally he prefers some family members to others, but he'll always be there for any of them. He's the youngest of his generation, but due to a large age gap he already has a nibling at Hogwarts (in second year). He does try to give them space and not embarrass them, but he definitely keeps an eye out for their well-being on the sly. Enemies Dominique Weasley. She hates him. Lovers Dominique Weasley. He loves her. He likes to think he's over his crush on Dominique Weasley. He's lying to himself. He's fancied her since first year and he's not exactly subtle - except they had a huge row in fifth year and he realised it couldn't last. He started actually seeing people after that. None of them lasted, but he went out there!! He did it!! Now its two years later and whilst he still thinks she's the most beautiful being he's every laid eyes on, he's can actually consider her flaws. She's not on that pedestal anymore, but he'd still follow her anywhere in a heartbeat. Ceres Selene Abercrombie - a Good egg Dominique E. Weasley - the unattainable love of his life Jasper M. They fascinate her in every way. Its probably to do with the fact she spent most of her life unable to hear, reading all the books she could get her hands on - which, given the library in Selwyn Manor is a lot. Since being able to hear thanks to magic fish in her ears, her current life mission is to learn any language she comes into contact with as thoroughly as possible. Preferably whilst also snuggled up with her girlfriend. Bea often comes across as someone who's not altogether focused. Its just her nature - she's probably paying more attention than you think she is. She also has a habit of not reacting in the way people would expect her to. In that, she doesn't really react to anything - she'll treat someone telling her someone is dead with the same demeanour as someone telling her its currently raining. You get used to it. She was born deaf and can now only hear because of fish that live in her ear canal throughout the day. Its made her an advocate for disabled rights in both the Wizarding and Muggles worlds. Because she spent so much of her life signing over speaking she's often slower to respond verbally. She does also have a habit of just taking her babelfish out when she wants some quiet time though... and not just when its time for bed. Friends Quiet by nature, Bea can come across a little reserved, but once she's spent more time with someone she does open up. She can be genuinely funny even if often the butt of the joke, but always takes it in good humour. She'll stand by you no matter what. Family The only blood relative Bea has left is her grandmother and she honestly has mixed emotions about her. On the one hand, she's fed and clothed her, given her a home, and she learnt sign language for her even when she thought she'd never get to meet her. On the other, she likes to remind her constantly that being a Gryffindor is 'not the Selwyn way' and that her parents supported the wrong side of a war and somehow that resulted in their deaths, without actually telling her how either of them actually died. So, yes, they have issues. To be frank, Bea much prefers Vee's papa to her nain. Enemies The thing with Bea is, she often fails to notice when someone is being mean to her. She'll respond to them in the same way she'd respond to anybody which often frustrates them. So whilst some people may not like her, in reality she still likes them. Its just how she is. Lovers Viola G. Bennett - we could practically just leave this heading at that. Bea fancied Vee from the moment she saw her on their first Hogwarts Express journey, and held that torch for a while without telling her at all. When their first Hogsmeade trip was announced in their third year she was determined to build up the courage to ask the Ravenclaw to go with her. She chickened out. Cousins! Dom isn't exactly the talking about your feelings type, so I don't really know how she'll have dealt with the whole Harry thing other than trying to go along as normal - working past her feelings is sort of her thing, so idk whether Lily would have found that comforting that Dom is not trying to be all sympathetic and try to talk to her about stuff. But trust that she's not someone that would probably ever try to talk to Lily about it unless Lily brought it up first.Dom's very interested in Lily's potential, as one of the younger members of the family, and she wants to see Lily live up to that potential and be an invested and helpful member of her group 'Wizard's For a Better World' - I can imagine Dom really trying to get Lily involved over the years, and she's not the sort of girl that gives up easily, so Lily would really have to try her best to shake her haha.Jasper M. Kirke && Lily Luna PotterDifferent years and houses, I don't see an immediate reason for these two to interact other than Jasper indulging in some of Lily's potion concoctions, but even then he wouldn't know that it was hers. We might be able to come up with someone fun in the future though, cos Jasper's a sweet guy, and Lily deserves a Soft Boi like Jasper in her life.Paisley B. Corner && Lily Luna PotterPaisley has no interest in the little Potter or even the big Potters unless they have the ambition to go anywhere in their life - otherwise, they're not really worth her wasting her time getting to know. She needs contacts, not people who'll slow her down. But watch out because Paisley's a do-gooder and a pretty unforgiving Prefect. If she catches you and about or causing trouble out of hours, you'll be reported to the staff for sure.
