The year is now 2021, and now it's time for the next generation to make their mark. The newest batch of Hogwarts students have entered this historic school and no one knows how their future will turn out - and that is where the fun begins.
The plot will be determined by the characters of the site as of now - future plots will change as these forces weigh in on the Wizarding World, and we see where these characters take us. So join in and let your character make their mark!
Minimum word count is 200.
Instead of us keeping track of you all individually, we think it's easier for you to claim your characters in monthly activity checks - you know best about how active you are.
Activity checks can seem a bit overbearing, because it's hard to maintain real life and RP lives too - we understand! We would like to reassure you that should you be unable to manage your activity and have to leave —you can always come back to us when it’s possible for you. Just because we delete your inactive accounts does not mean you are not welcome back. You are always welcome at Hell Hath No Fury. Always. You can also reclaim your characters should they be available when you return. Character Applications will not be deleted (they will be stored in The Graveyard for you to retrieve if you want them!).
This activity check will be on from Thurs 26th July to Thurs 2nd Aug and if you don't post in this thread in this time frame (and haven't notified the staff of any absences), we will be following up on your activity and your characters will be moved to an interim 'inactive' group while we determine whether you can keep up with the characters you have.
You must provide proof of your activity to links with active threads that your character has been involved with. For a thread to be considered active it has to have been posted in by you within the past month (ie. from 26th June to the present).
Don't stress over getting new characters into threads - we know which ones have only recently been accepted, and we all need a little time getting these things going. If you character has only recently been accepted, we don't expect them to be in active threads just yet.
Our rules on activity aren't hard and fast, but this check is a good indicator of about how much you're online.
